Q - What is the make-up of the CTRN?

A - The CTRN has approximately 186 members. Approximately 1/3 are corporate talent acquisition specialists, another 1/3 are employed at IT consulting firms, and the balance are independent contract recruiters, HR Generalists, and third-party agencies.

 Q - How often does the CTRN meet?

 A - We target 4-quarterly meetings per year with one annual meeting; depending on speaker availability and location options. Chapter meetings managed by a chapter chair  person are scheduled as per the chapter.

 Q - Are corporate memberships offered?

A - No, each membership is individual whether or not the individuals employer paid for the membership (this should be disclosed to the employer before they agree to pay for an employees membership). The individual is allowed to retain their membership should they move to another employer. The employer is not allowed to transfer the balance of the membership to another employee.

Q - Are the CTRN Board Members compensated for their efforts?

 A - No, the members of the CTRN Board volunteer their time and efforts and are not compensated.

Q - How is the money from our membership dues allocated? A - The money from the membership dues are used for social events, flight, hotel, and honorarium fees for speakers that present to the CTRN, costs related to the use of facilities (i.e. space rental, food and beverage), and AV equipment required for presentations.
